Add more tokens, bots or seats with add-ons
Add-ons raise one of your plan's limits without moving you to a bigger plan. They stack on top of whatever paid plan you're on, and you can change or remove them at any time.
Who can buy add-ons
Who can do this: the team owner. Add-ons need an active paid plan, and you manage them on the Billing page, which only the owner can open.
Available add-ons
| Add-on | What each unit adds | Monthly | Annually |
|---|---|---|---|
| Message tokens add-on | 5,000,000 message tokens a month | $25 a month | $250 a year |
| Storage tokens add-on | 5,000,000 storage tokens a month | $5 a month | $50 a year |
| Extra bot | One more bot for your team | $8 a month | $80 a year |
| Extra data source | One more data source per bot | $4 a month | $40 a year |
| Extra team member | One more seat on your team (organisation teams only) | $2 a month | $20 a year |
| Custom Domain | One custom domain for your team, used on any one bot | $25 a month | $250 a year |
Prices are in US dollars (USD) and exclude applicable taxes.
Token add-ons add message tokens or storage tokens to your monthly allowance. A custom domain add-on lets you serve one bot from a custom domain. The pricing page shows the same catalogue.
Some things are billed separately rather than as add-ons on this list:
- Connected email account ($10 a month or $120 a year per inbox) is added automatically when you connect an inbox for the email inbox power-up. You don't buy it from the billing page.
Token add-ons and the monthly reset
Token add-ons are added to your monthly allowance and reset along with it. If you need the extra tokens every month, keep the add-on active and it applies each cycle. See when tokens reset.
Steps
- Go to Billing and scroll to Plan addons.
- Set the Quantity for each add-on you want. Setting it to 0 removes the add-on.
- Select Update addons.
- Check the summary. It shows each change and your Overall monthly addon cost before and after.
- Select Update addons again to confirm.
- You're taken to the billing portal, where you may need to confirm payment.
How add-ons are billed
- Add-ons follow your plan's billing frequency: monthly prices if you pay monthly, yearly prices if you pay yearly.
- When you add or increase an add-on, you're charged straight away for the rest of your current billing period (prorated).
- On a yearly plan, the monthly cost of an add-on is prorated across the remaining months of the year.
- When you remove or reduce an add-on, the change shows on your subscription and your next invoice.
Check it works
After your payment goes through, Plan addons on the billing page shows your new quantities. For token add-ons, the Storage tokens and Message tokens figures at the top of the billing page include the extra tokens.
Troubleshooting
Why can't I see the Extra team member add-on?
Personal teams always have exactly one member, so the add-on is hidden. Convert your personal team to an organisation team first.
Why can't I reduce my custom domain add-on?
Each unit maps to one live custom domain. Remove the extra domains from your bots first, then reduce the quantity.
Can I buy add-ons on the Free plan?
No. Add-ons are added to a paid subscription. Upgrade to a paid plan first.
