Billed in minutes, shared by your team
One pack is 60 minutes a month for $10, shared across every bot on your team. Available on any paid Chat Thing plan. Stack packs for more. When minutes run out, callers are asked to continue in text - never a surprise bill.
Launch offer: your first 60 minutes for $5, then $10/month. Once per eligible team; additional packs are $10 each.
Voice renews monthly, even on annual plans. Reasoning and power-ups also use your plan's message tokens. Phone answering requires Standard or above and a $5/month number. Prices exclude applicable taxes.

- How much do voice calls cost?
- Voice calls are a separate monthly add-on on any paid Chat Thing plan. Each pack is $10 a month for 60 minutes, shared across your team's web and phone calls. During the launch offer, eligible teams save $5 on their first voice invoice: $5 for one pack, then $10/month. The discount applies once per team; extra packs are full price. Stack packs for more minutes. Reasoning and power-ups also use your plan's message tokens.
- What happens when we run out of minutes?
- Visitors can't start a new call until your next renewal, and they're told to continue in text. There are no automatic overage charges.
- Does the voice know everything my bot knows?
- Yes. A call uses the same data sources, power-ups and conversation history as text chat. The voice agent handles the conversation and asks your bot for answers and actions.
- Can a person join a voice call?
- No. If one of your team takes over, the voice tells the caller and the conversation continues in text chat.
- Is this a phone agent?
- Not this part. Web voice calls happen in the browser through the chat widget, so there's no phone number, telephony or dialler to set up. If you need inbound phone answering, the same bot can do that too on the phone channel: see the AI receptionist page. Both draw on the same voice minutes.
- Is this an AI receptionist?
- For your website, yes: it greets visitors, answers from your knowledge, takes bookings and enquiries through power-ups, and hands off to your team in text. For your phone line, turn on the phone channel and the same bot answers calls, transfers to your team and takes messages.
- Which voice model powers the calls?
- OpenAI's GPT Live voice model handles the spoken conversation: the voices, the listening and the turn-taking, including interruptions. Everything it says about your business comes from your own Chat Thing agent, its data sources and power-ups.
- Which browsers are supported?
- Any modern desktop or mobile browser with microphone access. Visitors are asked for permission when they start a call.
