This incredible upgrade grants your bot an enormous 16k context window, enabling it to utilize more of your data and retain a larger chat history. It's a game-changer when it comes to summarizing extensive text and remembering your conversations.
What's even better is that it's priced way more cost-effectively than GPT-4, making it perfect for those who found GPT-4 a bit too pricey. It only costs 2x your standard message tokens.
🔄 Auto Syncing! 🔄
We've got something truly powerful for you: auto syncing! Now you can set your data sources to automatically sync every day, week, or month. We've got exciting news for all Telegram enthusiasts! You can now converse with your Chat Thing bots directly on Telegram. Just enable the Telegram channel, talk to the Telegram Bot Father to create your bot, and voila! You'll be up and running in less than 2 minutes! Big shoutout to Telegram for making this integration a breeze!
🛡️ Response Guards - Fighting Hallucinations! 🛡️
One of the top reasons people decide that Chat Thing isn’t for them are hallucinations! When the bot makes things up that isn’t in your data. Previously the only way to protect against this was to write a very aggressive prompt attempting to persuade your bot to use only your content. The are stubborn little buggers though and it very rarely worked! Thats why we’ve introduced “Response guards” that provide you with another weapon to tackle annoying hallucinations, and other things too!
Response guards work by giving you an extra prompt that you can use to inspect, modify and validate the response before its sent back to the user!
As well as forcing your bot to answer “I don’t not know” if its asked something outside of its remit, you can also use response guards to tell your bot to redact personal information, never mention certain subjects, or whatever else you can come up with a prompt for! Its pretty powerful and we are excited to see how people use it.
🔄 Sync Progress - See it Unfold! 🔄
Syncing large data sources can take time, and we get it. That's why we've introduced the Sync Progress feature. No more relying on a sad loading spinner! Now you can enjoy a fully-fledged sync progress window where you can track the progress of each syncing stage. It's a fancy addition that makes your syncing experience so much smoother!
🎛️ More Advanced Bot Controls 🎛️
With the release of GPT-3.5 Turbo 16k, it only made sense to include some brand-new advanced controls. These controls grant you fine-tuned control over how the context is used. You can now determine how many of your documents are sent to the bot, how much of the context window should be utilised, and so much more! Take charge and shape your bot's conversational abilities to perfection.
📚 ePub Support - Bringing Your Favorite eBooks to Life! 📚
Last but not least, we've added support for ePub files in our file data source! Now you can import content from your beloved eBooks and explore a whole new world of possibilities.
