# Improve your bot

A bot gets better when you look at what customers actually ask and fix what it gets wrong. Start by understanding where an answer comes from, then use the fixes and the after-launch routine to close the gaps. Your bot doesn't learn from conversations by itself: every improvement comes from a change to its knowledge, instructions or settings.
