## **Three steps to your first payout **
1. **1**### **Apply**
Tell us where you'll share Chat Thing. We review every application by hand and email you when you're in.
2. **2**### **Share your link and code**
You get a referral link and a personal discount code. Your audience gets 20% off their first 3 months with the code, so you have something worth sharing.
3. **3**### **Get paid every month**
Earn 30% of every payment your customers make for 12 months. We pay by PayPal or Wise once you pass $50.

## **One agent that answers chat, voice and the phone **

**Questions **
## **The small print, in plain English **
The programme runs on Sidekick, our partner platform. Something not covered here? Email [**~~support@chatthing.ai~~**](mailto:support@chatthing.ai).
- **How much can I earn?**
- 30% of every payment a customer you refer makes in their first 12 months, with no cap on how many customers you refer. That includes upgrades. Refunded payments are taken back off your balance.
- **How long does the referral cookie last?**
- 60 days. If someone clicks your link and subscribes within 60 days, they're yours. If they click another affiliate's link afterwards, the most recent click wins.
- **What does my audience get?**
- 20% off their first 3 months with your code (it ends in THING, for example SAMTHING). A customer who types your code at checkout is credited to you even if they never clicked your link.
- **When do I get paid?**
- Each commission is held for 30 days in case of a refund, then becomes due. We pay due commissions once a month by PayPal or Wise once your balance reaches $50. Anything below that rolls over.
- **Where do I track my referrals?**
- In your partner dashboard at partners.pixelhop.io. You'll see live clicks, customers and commissions (pending, due and paid), plus achievements, levels and a monthly leaderboard.
- **Can I run ads or list my code on coupon sites?**
- You can advertise your own content, but don't bid on Chat Thing as a search keyword (including misspellings), and don't list your code on coupon, voucher or cashback sites. Commissions from either can be voided.
- **Can I refer myself or my own company?**
- No. Self-referrals don't earn commission. If you want Chat Thing for yourself, use the free plan or talk to us.
- **Do I need to be a Chat Thing customer?**
- No, and it's free to join. It does help to have built a bot yourself, so you can show it working.
